Official enough for club notices. Not official enough to prevent Mugs from forgetting which room she was in.
The receipts do the arguing. Across six years, "official" keeps meaning whatever the whole house needs in order to keep moving: coordinate, warn, recognize, celebrate, or repair continuity after something changes. Operations and taking care of people never stay in separate departments for long.
Saber begins turning the backstage calendar into public event alarms in Announcements. The room changes from humans posting notices to infrastructure speaking for them; the house language survives the handoff.
Mugen's first check is social: this person does not call me bro. Then she catches dlscord in the link and confirms the sender's account was hacked. Knowing how a friend actually talks becomes part of the security check.
Mugen opened the Announcements era on April 3, 2020 with `We will be making an annoucement here for now` and immediately used the room for onboarding/role-assignment routing.
On April 15, 2020, an outfit/Decora derailment ended with Mugen writing `Forgot this is announcements page`; similar ordinary chat spillover recurred later in 2020.
On June 15, 2020, Announcements was used for a public birthday message to Gilli, including Mugen's `oop we're doing the announcements now then--` preface.
On November 24, 2022, Mugen's Thanksgiving announcement thanked Staff, Strippers, Bartenders, Bouncers, Platelets, Tumbleweed family, VIP customers, and Officers, and signed `Your resident plutonian dumdum ๐ฝ`.
Announcements preserves explicit dated notices for Daya's Officer promotion on May 14, 2022, Nobu's Party Director appointment on August 23, 2022, and Kiro's Officer promotion on October 1, 2022.
On March 2, 2023, Mugen credited Snow and Ren for that night's anniversary surprise and announced the opening of the UL Mafia anime and bios rooms.
On October 17, 2023, Mugen announced that different Officers would rotate the Dragon Raja in-game president role so events could be opened more consistently after her work responsibilities increased.
This concerns the in-game president permission used to open events. It does not replace Mugen as UL Boss/Leader.
Announcements still carries continuity notices in the late era, including Mugen's December 24, 2025 `5 years going to 6!` Christmas message and Ren's July 7, 2026 notice identifying Rummy's replacement account after a hack.
