By September 2020, Gabu is already Drink water reminder. Then the room starts reminding the reminder, rewriting the reminder, and occasionally covering the reminder's shift.
Drink water reminder is one of Gabu's historical UL names. The archive has not surfaced the moment somebody invented it, and the old sequence was too neat: the name is already visible on the same morning as the earliest hydration line we have. What survives is identity and behavior arriving together, then widening into a pingable house ritual.
SAME MORNING. TWO THINGS ARE ALREADY TRUE.
At 3:46 a.m., Anthos greets @Drink water reminder as Gabriel. At 5:09, Gabu tells somebody, maam drink water too. The surviving order does not tell us whether the habit produced the name or an older habit already existed before this export window. It tells us that by September 3, both are legible.

THE CARE JOB IS NOT A ONE-WAY SERVICE.
Announcements exposes the expanded, pingable house label @Drink Water/ Eat Food Reminder. Gilli points it straight back at the reminder: DRINK WATER AND EAT SOMETHING. Gabu and Anayss react; Gabu answers with a feeding GIF.
GILLI KEEPS SENDING THE REMINDER BACK.
Two days later: I DONT CARE IF IT'S LATE, DRINK WATER ! At the end of the month: Drink Water, Eat Something and take care lovelies ❤. One reversal could be a reply. The repeated direction makes the carrier subject to the same care as everybody else.
THE REMINDER LEARNS SHIFT COVERAGE.
The instruction stops having one fixed sentence. Gilli escalates from OR YOU'RE GROUNDED to Eat your water and drink food to You know the drill, drink water or curb stomp. The wording can mutate because the ritual is already recognizable.
Then Ansun tags the same label and announces himself: YOU THOUGHT IT WAS GILLI BUT ITS ME ANSUN!!! Gabu remains the named Reminder. The act of reminding is now portable enough that somebody else can take the turn.
THE OLD IDENTIFIER STILL WORKS.
Gabu walks into the Whiskey reunion, gets recognized immediately, and within twenty-four minutes asks the room the old question: did you drink water?
No role ping is needed. The gesture still knows its line.
THE REMINDER COULD BE REMINDED. THEN SOMEBODY ELSE COULD REMIND.
That is what makes this more than generic water advice. UL attached a care habit to a person-name, widened the name into food as well as water, made it pingable, repeatedly aimed it back at its own carrier, and let the script mutate without losing the instruction underneath it.
By September 2021, Ansun can step into the routine for one scene and everybody still knows what is happening. Six years after the first surviving lines, Gabu asks the question again. The house noun lasted because the small act of checking on people did.

Earliest surviving is not origin. Primary Club Only mining now surfaces direct address to `@Drink water reminder` at 03:46 on September 3, 2020, before Gabu's 05:09 hydration line that same morning. The archive therefore does not support the old tidy sequence of behavior first, name later; it also does not prove who coined the name or when either practice actually began. Dated 2021 message pings prove the `Drink Water/ Eat Food Reminder` label was in active use. Export-time role arrays are not used to reconstruct holder chronology. Ansun's September 12 line proves a substitute reminder turn in that scene, not a formal appointment. External water GIFs remain external media, not UL-made artifacts.
