The earlier line is no longer floating without context: it belongs to Anthos's leather / whip banter. That resolves the scene, not the genealogy. Mugen is not named, the `papi` referent is unresolved, and the archive still has a three-year hole before the phrase is visibly hers.
The announcement has already said: the circus tent is always open. This is your house. Bless you my children. Whoever you are.

Project canon identifies Real Leather Papa as a recurring Mugen trademark. A provenance-safe Whiskey screenshot visibly carries the label on Mugen by March 17, 2023, later Whiskey screenshots repeat it, and Mugen authors it herself in the May 1 announcement. Anthos's 2020 `real leather papi` is now securely contextualized as leather / whip banter, but nothing in that scene identifies Mugen as its referent or proves it began the later persona. Earliest surviving evidence is not necessarily first use.
