FAT_
WHEEZE.
apparently the sentence was optional
THE IMPORTANT PART IS NOT WHO DREW THE FACE
IT STARTS
DOING THE
VERB.
In the surviving archive, :Fat_Wheeze: is not confined to one meme room and it does not need a sentence around it. People use it as laughter, disbelief, accusation, agreement, side-eye, acknowledgment, and occasionally the entire available language.
That is the mutation worth canonizing: image β reaction β whole utterance β punctuation.
2021 H2 β 2022 H2 Β· π₯ WHISKEY
The more revealing scan is the sentence-shaped absence: 1,039 Whiskey messages in 2021 H2, 1,339 in 2022 H1, and 1,193 in 2022 H2 consist only of one or more :Fat_Wheeze:. The emote is repeatedly being asked to carry an entire reply by itself.
These are transcript-scan counts from the completed Whiskey handoff, not a claim that UL created the emoji. The handoff does not expose a safe first-ever Whiskey message, so this page does not manufacture one.

Meems later records 432 inline uses across 295 messages and 1,145 archived Fat_Wheeze reactions across 423 messages. The huge surge is 2023.
MIA Or all of us @Staff :Fat_Wheeze:
REN Itβs the UL stripclub dancing to make a distraction for a mission :Fat_Wheeze: :Fat_Wheeze:
MIA Yusss
GILLI :Fat_Wheeze:
Gilliβs last line is the whole argument. Nothing lexical needs to be added. The room already knows what face to make.
SEP 03 Β· 2022 Β· π THE WALL
AND THEN IT
LEAVES WHISKEY.
On the Wall, WolfPhenix answers a height/identity riff with nothing but two :Fat_Wheeze: emotes. Mugen later attaches the same emote directly to the punchline about Dean seeing purple and deciding purple means Wolfie. Different room; same grammatical job.
source details
Selected same-day Wall lines. The archive proves the Wolfie/purple association was legible in the room; it does not establish why purple indexed WolfPhenix or turn Gabu's giant/ant joke into real-world height evidence.
LEGEND FILE
FAT_WHEEZE
A custom reaction escapes the status of "funny image" and repeatedly carries whole replies by itself across Whiskey, Meems, and the Wall: laughter, disbelief, accusation, agreement, side-eye, and punctuation with a face.
THE SENTENCE STARTS DISAPPEARING
The completed Whiskey scan finds 1,452 inline occurrences in 2021 H2, including 1,039 messages consisting only of one or more ":Fat_Wheeze:". The emote is already functioning as a whole utterance outside Meems.
archive confirmedFIRST INLINE USE SURFACED IN MEEMS
Tofu writes "Look at that. Iβm part of the CIA :Fat_Wheeze:". The COMPLETE Meems corpus later records 432 inline uses and 1,145 archived reactions, with the overwhelming surge in 2023.
archive confirmedTHE FACE WALKS INTO SCREENSHOT JAIL
WolfPhenix answers the height/Wolfie riff with ":Fat_Wheeze: :Fat_Wheeze:" and no sentence; Mugen later attaches the emote directly to the punchline about Dean seeing purple and deciding purple means Wolfie.
archive confirmed Β· receipt wolfphenix-purple-wolfiePUNCTUATION ACHIEVED
After Mia and Ren cast an external clip as UL Staff / an UL stripclub distraction mission, Gilli replies only ":Fat_Wheeze:". No lexical sentence is needed; the reaction is the sentence.
archive confirmedTHE EMOTE IS STILL RIDING WITH OLD RECEIPTS
During the Wall's archive-afterlife run, WolfPhenix says "dug up some old ss:Fat_Wheeze:" while old Dragon Raja screenshots are being reintroduced. The reaction grammar survives into the reunion era.

THE EMOTE
GRADUATED.
Meems alone proved local saturation. Whiskey proves the behavior was already enormous outside Meems across 2021β2022. The Wall gives an exact cross-room 2022 receipt where the emote again stands alone and then rides inside a punchline. That is enough to promote Fat_Wheeze as UL-native reaction grammar.
What remains open is different: who created or uploaded the emoji, when it first entered the server, and whether an earlier surviving use exists before the currently surfaced 2021 material. Those are origin questions. The house-use question is no longer open.
