Zoshaa walks into UL saying "I also have no idea wot I’m doing" and spends the next few years proving that not knowing what the fuck is happening and being perfectly capable are completely compatible conditions.
She needs Mugen to point toward the correct meme room. She also makes a recruitment banner while the server is still young enough to need one. She gets filed as "C H I L D", "orb", and "child shield", then tells Snow "COME AT ME OLD MAN" when he threatens fish jail. She can spend twenty minutes making something and immediately ask Ren whether she is proud. She can spend six hours on a Dragon Raja house and emerge furious at architecture itself. And one time Gilli apparently locked her out on a Wednesday and Zoshaa did not notice she was still locked out until days later.
There is no clean transformation from confused kid into competent person here. The competence was already there. The confusion also never entirely leaves. Much better.
She can make the sign. Please do not ask her where the sign goes.
April 2020 gives Zoshaa's perfect entrance. She identifies herself, says Mugen told her to introduce herself so she could get a role, and then supplies the operating disclaimer: "I also have no idea wot I’m doing".
A few weeks later Mugen has to redirect NintendoShitcube with "memes go under meme wars bb 😄". It is a tiny correction, and the "bb" plus smiley keeps it tiny. Nobody turns a wrong-room post into a disciplinary opera. Zoshaa needs the floor plan. Mugen points at the door. Done.
Then June 24 murders the obvious biography. Zoshaa posts a recruitment banner with:
"Finally finished the McFucking banner"
So no, she was not waiting to become fully oriented before she could become useful. She can be new enough to need room directions and already competent enough to hand UL finished recruitment material. Ren later reformats that same square for recruitment, which is also a nice early glimpse of how making works around her: Zoshaa makes the thing, somebody else can pick it up and adapt it, and the object becomes part of the house without anybody needing to invent a formal Artist Department.
That split follows her around. Zoshaa's problem is rarely can she do the thing? More often it is does she know what room the thing belongs in, has she noticed the thing happened, and how many profanity modifiers will be required before completion?
Ren gets the progress report whether Ren asked for one or not.
The early Tumbleweed files "RV - Zoshaa (orb) - child shield", but the better relationship material is what happens after "orb" stops being a label on a chart and becomes something they can actually play with.
Zoshaa posts something she has worked on and tells Ren, "this took me 20 fuckin minutes, are you proud?" The sentence is half complaint, half tiny bid for recognition. Twenty minutes is presented as an industrial injury; Ren is the person whose approval gets requested at the scene of the accident.
By January 2021, Ren can summon "ORB" and tell her to "COME DESTROY SHIT WIJT ME". Months later Zoshaa is yelling "ORB ANNIVERSARY" and stretching "I L O V E Y O U U W U" across the room. Ren later says she is staring at "the drawing" and crying.
The exact origin of Orb is still somewhere in the fog. That is fine. What is no longer foggy is the relationship function. The word becomes durable enough to carry invitation, creative pride, affection, and shared memory. Ren and Zoshaa do not need to stop and define it every time. By then, "ORB" is a button they can press and expect the other person to hear the whole ringtone.
Then Zoshaa eventually narrates the earlier relationship from her own side. She says Luna invited her into UL, that she doesn't really remember talking a lot at first, and that she especially appreciates Ren "for just talking to me at the beginning". There is no grand mentorship ceremony hiding inside that sentence. The thing she remembers is conversation. Somebody talked to the quiet new girl often enough that, years later, that ordinary attention is what she chooses to name.
Her punchline is the whole character arc in one line: "Now I scream a lot and call @Snow old". The girl who barely remembers talking much at first does not describe later comfort with a solemn confidence speech. She describes volume and elder abuse. Ren is not made the sole cause—Zoshaa thanks the Officers collectively—but the relationship gets a much better foundation than a chart noun. Before Orb became a ringtone, Ren was apparently just talking to her.
And this is why the older "child" / "orb" vocabulary does not make Zoshaa passive. The house may turn her into nouns, but Zoshaa keeps turning the nouns back into verbs. She asks for approval. She answers summons. She announces anniversaries. She performs the bit from inside it.
The child has teeth. Fish teeth, unfortunately.
By summer 2020, Gilli can address NintendoShitcube as "C H I L D". By September the joke has acquired fake maintenance obligations: "We havent given the child tide pods in a while", "We so neglectful", then the Zoshaa tag and a Tide-Pods Tenor. UL's solution to having a younger member is apparently to invent the worst possible daycare paperwork and then put it on Tumbleweed.
None of that is literal caregiving. The interesting part is familiarity. The room can compress Zoshaa into "the child" because everybody knows which person is being invoked and what kind of joke they are playing.
February 2021 proves Zoshaa is not merely standing there being cute while older people assign her vocabulary. Snow threatens "fishjail". Zoshaa answers:
"@Snow COME AT ME OLD MAN"
And there she is.
The formal Officer can become the old man in one line. The Platelet can become the person throwing the shoe. Gabu starts narrating "Fish 1 and fish 2"; Ren says "Join the fish revolution"; the room produces "fish cultists"; Snow's authority has somehow become aquatic municipal infrastructure.
Zoshaa knows exactly how to kick upward when the premise is safe. "Child" is not a cage. It is one prop in a relationship where she is allowed to bite back.
She got locked out. The shocking part is when she noticed.
September 2020 supplies a smaller scene that may be even more Zoshaa.
Ren notices there is an access problem. Zoshaa explains that Gilli locked her out on Wednesday and she did not notice she was not back until now. The line ends in "lmao", because apparently discovering that you have spent multiple days failing to notice your own continued lockout is not a crisis; it is evidence for the prosecution.
Ren laughs and gives her "There u go". Gilli later surfaces with "LMAO MY BAD".
The exact permission mechanism is gone, and nobody gets accused of a serious moderation incident from this. What survives is the relationship temperature: almost no heat. Zoshaa reports the absurd delay. Ren appears to help. Gilli takes the hit. Nobody needs a summit.
It adds a very useful contradiction to somebody already known for making things. Zoshaa can apparently give twenty minutes, six hours, or whatever a project demands when she is locked onto the object in front of her. She can also fail to notice for days that a door is still closed behind her. Focus is not the same thing as general situational awareness. God bless.
Making things is not a title. It is just what she keeps doing.
The "McFucking banner" is the earliest clean maker receipt currently surfaced, not proof of the first thing Zoshaa ever made. What matters more is that the behavior keeps recurring.
In April 2021 she posts a local edit with "Made another one". In January 2022 she arrives with "I made a thing". The wording is almost aggressively modest. No portfolio speech. No invented Media title. No paragraph explaining why everyone should care. She made another one. She made a thing. The thing is now your problem.
Even her bid for Ren's reaction works like this. "this took me 20 fuckin minutes, are you proud?" gives you the labor, the grievance, and the desired audience in one sentence. There is a little vulnerability hiding inside the profanity: she does want the other person to look. She just refuses to become solemn while asking.
Later ordinary-life material pushes the same pattern into Dragon Raja itself. Zoshaa can spend six hours on a house and then rage at the game. This is the person who says she does not know what she is doing and then proceeds to give the task an entire work shift. Apparently uncertainty does not reduce commitment. It just means the screaming starts earlier.
Uwu is not a warning label.
Zoshaa's gross-out humor has a very specific failure mode: if somebody recoils, she may improve the description until the room suffers correctly.
She offers a "refreshing glass of boiled mayo" with a tiny "ᵘ ʷ ᵘ" attached like the sentence is delivering a flower basket. Gilli says merely thinking about it makes him gag. Zoshaa does not accept the review and move on. She adds temperature, texture, brand, and flavor: now it is like a warm McDonald's triple-thick milkshake that tastes like mayo.
That is the bit. The cute delivery and the revolting image are working together. The disgust is not collateral damage; Gilli's recoil gives her somewhere to add detail. Months later a different ugly object gets the same prosecutorial attention: "What a stupid looking animal, glad I’m not a bug with a long neck". Zoshaa rarely settles for *gross* or *weird* when a more unnecessarily specific conviction is available.
It makes an older Wall role even funnier. In 2020, other people were already turning Zoshaa into grotesquely specific descriptions like the "scrambled egg bunny fursona" material. Later she is perfectly capable of becoming the person doing the describing. No origin story required. Defendant and prosecutor can live in the same tiny NintendoShitcube.
The serious part never requires the jokes to leave.
On her one-year UL anniversary, Zoshaa talks about COVID/quarantine and personal circumstances disrupting school friendships. She had expected to leave Dragon Raja when Altissa died; instead she came into UL. The people there became friends who made her laugh and, in her words, "mean the world" to her.
Mugen answers "Happy anniversary, child". Anthos calls her "a source of life and love in our tumbleweed". Gabu thanks her. Ansun calls her family.
That is the nice thing about Zoshaa's file: sincerity does not arrive only after everybody agrees to stop being stupid. The stupid vocabulary carries the sincere thing. "Child" can be ridiculous and affectionate in the same sentence because by then everybody knows the relationship underneath it.
Months later school and life keep Zoshaa away again. She apologizes and says she loves everyone. Ren tells her she does not need to get on the game and that the people are still there.
Dragon Raja can become optional before the relationship does.
That is also why the Orb continuity matters more than locating a ceremonial first use. A shared noun survives because the people keep finding reasons to reuse it. Summon. Approval. Anniversary. Affection. Creative reaction. It becomes shorthand because the relationship keeps giving it somewhere to go.
Petty Crimes
- Did not notice she was still locked out for days. This is not a technical skill issue so much as an attention felony.
- "Finally finished the McFucking banner". Recruitment graphics, but make the project status update hostile.
- Spent twenty minutes making something and immediately asked Ren if she was proud. Emotional performance review requested at gunpoint.
- Spent six hours on a Dragon Raja house and then screamed at the game. Apparently architecture is worth an entire shift but not forgiveness.
- Grandpa's-farm BBQ got hit by a "torrential fuckstorm from hell". Weather reporting by NintendoShitcube.
- Pet-washing-machine disbelief. Correctly regarded a certain domestic premise as spiritually suspicious.
- "I’d share a refreshing glass of boiled mayo with my orb any day ᵘ ʷ ᵘ". Affection is real. Refreshment claim denied. When Gilli gagged, she made the imaginary drink warmer and more McDonald's-specific. Customer feedback was incorporated.
- "Screaming is what I do best😎😎😎". Self-awareness prevents no crimes.
- "Now I scream a lot and call @Snow old". Zoshaa's own progress report remains unusable by HR.
- "What a stupid looking animal, glad I’m not a bug with a long neck". The neck was observed. The neck was convicted.
- "COME AT ME OLD MAN". Snow continues to suffer for surviving past the age of twelve.
Permanent Platelet is how the roster files Zoshaa. It is not what makes her memorable.
What makes her memorable is the collision: capable and scattered, affectionate and profane, quiet enough at the beginning that she later remembers Ren simply talking to her, loud enough later to use calling Snow old as her own shorthand for who she became, proud enough of the thing she made to ask whether Ren is proud too, and absent-minded enough to discover a multi-day lockout like it was a push notification she had been meaning to clear.
