SOMETIMES THE WITNESS IS ALSO ALTERING THE CRIME SCENE
Moon's older character read was almost entirely observational: she catches the room changing shape, notices when a channel comes back to life, notices when the children have somehow acquired diplomas, and immediately supplies the sentence everybody else needed. Ryo adds the missing active verb.
March 8, 2023: Ryo walks through Lobby paperwork with the old club name already gone — "I used to play I just forgot the name 💀" — but the social route survives intact: "I was invited my moon :)". Mugs confirms Moon brought Ryo in as her friend. Moon is carrying an existing relationship across the threshold and changing who is inside the house.
Four days later she is already in the Wall tagging him with "OMFG.YOUR FIRST TIME STARRING AT WALL OF SHAME~♡♡♡". Ryo answers "NOOOOO". Moon's reply is "We go through wall of shame together".
That last sentence changes the whole scene. The hearts were already doing viciously affectionate onboarding work; now Moon explicitly refuses to leave Ryo alone in the embarrassment she is celebrating. Being caught is not exile from the group. It is, somehow, another way to get welcomed into it.
Ryo keeps catastrophizing — "How do I live like this now", "I cant", finally "I cant do this" — and Moon never switches into solemn reassurance. She proposes the obvious administrative remedy: "Change your name, wear a wig and run away". Ryo says "Ok". Thirteen seconds after the original escape plan, Moon adds the clause that makes the whole friendship beat land: "Wait let me join youu".
That is Moon's care grammar in miniature. She makes the embarrassment louder, but she also keeps changing the pronoun from you to we. She will congratulate Ryo on getting prosecuted by the scrapbook, recommend witness protection, and then climb into the getaway car herself. The teasing and the reassurance are not opposite modes here. The reassurance is hiding inside the bit so Ryo never has to become the only person standing under the spotlight.
And Moon does not exempt themself. In June 2024 they open a Wall chain by calling themself a "human degenerate", get into a back-and-forth with Rummy, and defend "Being yinlin's chair" as "interior design". Rummy prosecutes the situation as "masochist behaViOR". Moon does not retreat; they start explaining why Yinlin being part of the police department means she should check up on them "For the greater good,of course". None of this needs to become a literal kink claim. The character point is already funnier: the self-appointed celestial witness will happily climb into the evidence bag and keep talking.
THE BARISTA OUTLIVED THE BARISTA
The QOTD archive adds a longer arc to Moon's habit of giving the room its next line. Her old "marcy" / "marmar" accounts are now user-confirmed, which resolves dozens of formerly anonymous question credits. In 2024 those handles account for 77 credited Barista cards. In 2025 they account for at least 123.
Then the automation stops.
There are no Cafe Barista posts in 2026. The room comes back anyway, intermittently, because humans start asking the questions themselves. Moon supplies most of them: hobbies changing with age, fictional red flags, songs, travel, dreams, colors, countries, games, food, animals, talent, language. The role is no longer only feeding a queue. She is standing in the old room and placing the next question on the counter herself.
That does not prove the specialist title began on that date. It does make the title unusually legible in behavior.
THE UNIVERSITY NEEDED AN ASTRONOMY DEPARTMENT WITHIN MINUTES
June 7, 2024: the bot repeats an old prompt. Moon replaces it with "UnderLords is a prestigious university" and starts casting the membership as faculty. Her own department is astronomy: NASA documentaries, space museums, meteor craters, planets, stars, galaxies, cosmic structure and evolution.
The useful character beat is not merely that Moon likes space. It is how fast she can turn a failed daily prompt into a shared setting where everybody else's known traits become curriculum. QOTD has stopped being an introduction machine by this point. The cast is already known well enough to staff a university on demand.
WHEN ACCUSED OF CHEATING, CITE THE CONTRACT
September 11, 2022 starts with Moon replying directly to Oyasumi: "Sushi cheated on me D:". Dayadream arrives half an hour later and flips the charge immediately: "you're cheating on me with sushi?!". Moon does not deny the relationship premise. She reaches for paperwork.
"You signed a marriage contract that we can have open relationship uwu" lands first. Thirty seconds later comes the addendum: "Your the one that came up with that decision uwu". The double "uwu" is doing exquisite legal malpractice. Moon is arguing relationship jurisdiction with the confidence of somebody who believes a cute suffix counts as notarization, while also throwing authorship of the allegedly permissive clause straight back at Dayadream.
That is exactly as literal as the archive lets it be: the Wall exchange treats Moon and Dayadream as having a joking marriage-contract/open-relationship grammar. It does not establish an offline romance, legal marriage, or Dragon Raja marriage. The reply structure makes Oyasumi the target of "Sushi" in this one scene, but not a global Sushi alias, and the parent image that supposedly started the case remains uninspected. We have the courtroom transcript. The crime scene is still sealed.
POCKET SIZE, FULL-SCALE MENACE
By April 2023 Whiskey is carrying Moon as "UL's Pocket Size Moon". January gives the same register with sharper teeth: Cookie says he can take a needle, Moon produces Shinobu with a syringe, tells him "Come here bby", and when he retracts the offer she answers "No take backs". Care imagery, medical imagery, threat imagery, baby-talk endearment: all sharing one tiny room without asking which genre they belong to.
THE CALENDAR KEEPS COMMITTING CRIMES
Slice catches Moon doing the same thing the Whiskey reunion later makes impossible to miss: noticing that everybody has apparently continued aging without first filing the paperwork with her.
July 6, 2024: Lobby has Anglie introducing herself at 16, with the export carrying the Platelet role. Two years later Anglie drops "Im graduating this Saturday" into Slice. Moon comes back to that milestone and reacts to how fast the time went.
Then Whiskey wakes up in August and Moon stops pretending this is one person's scheduling problem: "I refuse to believe that the platelets graduated".
Three rooms, same offense: the children have acquired years. Moon keeps catching the house changing shape and reacting like the calendar has violated procedure.
PETTY CRIMES
Moon is also capable of stopping an intake cold to ask "What is a ign?", accepting Ren's plain-English answer, and then narrating the buffering process with "My brain is trying hard to process ewe". Months later Ansun tries to claim "no shame all fame" and ownership of the Wall; Moon looks at the room title and objects with the devastating legal theory "But the word shame is right there". She is observant enough to catch everybody else's nonsense and unpretentious enough to announce when her own brain is loading.
