The Photoshoot system scores Theme/Theme Accuracy, Style, Setting, Lighting, and Pose, ordinarily 1–5 each for 25 points total.
UL PHOTOSHOOT CONTEST

THE PIPELINE
The loop was brutally efficient: submit one in-game photo → judges score Theme, Style, Setting, Lighting, and Pose → top three are chosen → winning images become UL recruitment and event-announcement art → first place can guest judge the next round. The contest did not merely reward photographs. It converted member art into the public face of the club.
GILLI HAD AN IDEA. EVERYBODY GOT A JOB.
Mugen's January 14 credit roll names Gilli for the initial concept; Anayss, Gilli, and Wolf Phenix for planning, organization, and the Google Doc; Anthos for the promo poster; Anthos and Wolf for ironing out judging details; Wolf for judging-criteria cards; Anthos and Illien for poster editing; and Anayss, Ansun/Souta, Gabu, and Wolf for rewards. HeadacheGang receives the equally important production credit: GENERAL DUMASSERY CAUSING PANIC AT THE LAST MINUTE COZ WE SPENT AN HOUR IN THE SEWER.
PRETTY IS NOT ENOUGH
Judges repeatedly return to whether a photograph communicates the prompt at a glance. Captions were not supposed to carry the concept; Wolf and Anthos explicitly say they judged without reading them. Outfit rarity and cost mattered less than composition, color, lighting, setting, pose, and whether the image actually said the thing. The room can discuss focal points and implied narrative with a straight face, then immediately review Panda's waltz pose with: sir where ur hand at.
EVERYBODY GETS A PIECE OF THE PIE
A first-place winner — including alts — sat out the next contest so somebody else could win. The rule was enforced gently when AnnaRum/Rummy submitted while serving as a judge: the image was removed from scoring, the rule was explained, and the photo was redirected to Raja Photobooth instead. Prestige circulated; participation mattered more than letting one person sweep forever.
WALTZ GOES OUTSIDE THE HOUSE
July's Waltz round was explicitly UL's first inter-club photoshoot contest. Contestants could partner with UL members or players from other clubs. The surviving judge discussion and public winner announcements looked contradictory until the aliases were resolved: Marian Kage / Lapis is Panda. The archive is describing the same third-place contestant under different names.
ROSE WAS DARKASRAI. THE ARCHIVE WAS JUST CHANGING OUTFITS.
The August Dusk til Dawn round has the same alias trick: judges call third place Rose while the public winners post says DarkAsrai. User-confirmed canon resolves DarkAsrai as Rose, so this is not a contested placement. It is one person wearing two names in two rooms.
SEVENTEEN ROUNDS LATER
The public winners channel preserves 17 award rounds across 2021: New Year New You, Love, Loneliness, Flowers, Color, Mafia, Relax, Beach, Stalkers, Waltz, Dusk til Dawn, Popstar, Mid-Autumn Festival, NightLife Magazine, Scary, Raja Family Appreciation, and Winter. December closes with Mugen thanking Staff, VIPs, guest judges, and Officers for AN ENTIRE YEAR of making the event run.
SOURCE NOTES 6
First-place imagery was used for UL recruitment and weekend event announcements; second and third place supplied other weekday announcement art.
The surviving public winners record contains 17 award rounds across 2021.
Marian Kage / Lapis is Panda, resolving the apparent Waltz third-place naming conflict.
DarkAsrai is Rose, resolving the apparent Dusk til Dawn third-place naming conflict.
The first surviving rules post is dated December 28, 2020 but its theme body was edited July 1, 2021; Waltz must not be back-projected as the launch theme. The January opening round was New Year, New You.
