On December 8, 2020, Ayanokokoro told the Lobby they were not comfortable giving an exact age, said the least they could say was that they were a minor, and added `pls dont baby me`.
ROLE REFERENCE
PLATELETS
the under-18 safety tag became a species. graduation was cancelled.
01
AUTOMATIC UNDER EIGHTEEN
Every under-18 UL member was automatically a Platelet. It was not an optional cute title and adults could not acquire it for the first time later. The label let the server mark a young member without publishing an exact age and supported access/safety boundaries.
02
CELLS AT WORK! GAVE THE ROLE ITS NAME
Platelet is not analyst metaphor. Mugs confirms the role was named after the Platelet characters from Cells at Work!, replacing the older under-18 "Jailbait" vocabulary visible in the archive.
03
ONCE A PLATELET, ALWAYS A PLATELET
04
MAY 21 — THE PLATELETS GET THEIR OWN EXPLANATION
In Daycare, Ansun gives the cleanest surviving native definition: "this chats mainly for the platelets like you to hang without us calling you babies all the time LOL". When asked why "Platelets", he says it is from *Cells at Work*. That pins the 2021 role language to the minor/under-18 assignment without needing color-chart divination.
05
THE AGE TAG GOT A PLAYGROUND
Daycare is where the age-role system stops being only permissions and becomes house culture. Platelets get a room whose jokes are intentionally theirs; adults wander through as parents, uncles, food providers and general nuisances. The role has a color and a permissions history, yes. It also has a couch, snacks and an absent father.
SOURCE NOTES 7
On December 9, 2020, Gilli told Momo that for age they could simply say `minor or not minor`.
By November 7, 2022, Mugen's Lobby welcome script explicitly said that light-pink names were minors / Platelets and asked for due caution and responsible interactions.
This establishes the safety wording by this date; it is not claimed as the first-ever use.
Once a person was a Platelet, the designation remains part of their UL identity rather than becoming Former Platelet.
Mugs-confirmed Platelet permanence rule
Cele's primary Biodata placement is Platelets rather than Staff; Mia, Rummy, and Woosung retain Platelet alongside later or overlapping roles.
Mugs-confirmed Platelet and one-card canon
On May 21, 2021, Ansun wrote that Daycare was mainly for Platelets to hang out without being called babies all the time and explicitly explained the Platelet name as coming from Cells at Work.
Daycare functioned chiefly as the Platelet social room while remaining porous to older members; Mugen explicitly contrasted the playground with Whiskey's bar/oldies side.
