GAME CLUB โ†’ SOCIAL IDENTITY

THE GAME
ENDED.
THE HOUSE DIDN'T.

Underlords began inside Dragon Raja. The archive eventually starts talking about the game club as one thing and UL as another.

This is not a story where everybody suddenly quits Raja and announces a rebrand.

The split arrives through ordinary sentences. Somebody can stop playing and still be called family. A Boss can hand off the in-game presidency while keeping the Discord role. Officers can remain community Officers while active players handle game slots. Later, the game club can be spoken of as disbanded while Underlords is still available to return to.

FIRST, BELONGING ESCAPES THE CLIENT.

Aeshleen says Dragon Raja is over for her while keeping the UL family tie. Gilli answers the actual question underneath it: โ€œYoure still an underlord no matter what game we may play in the next few years, we're forever family.โ€

That does not abolish every membership boundary. Mugs's later first-party explanation is more precise: Raja was generally the formal front door, visitors could exist in Discord without being UL, and serious rupture or active transfer to another club could change the social answer. What this scene proves is simpler: continuing to play Dragon Raja is no longer required for the relationship to remain legible.

THEN MUGEN SPLITS THE JOB WITHOUT LEAVING THE HOUSE.

Mugen explains that work and life make scheduled Raja events hard to cover. The answer is not โ€œnew Boss.โ€ She keeps the Boss role in Discord while the game presidency handles scheduled event mechanics.

Two days later the mechanical presidency gets its own perfectly UL solution: President Hot Potato. Ansun writes the practical guide. The joke is doing succession work without pretending the social institution has changed owners.

Snow's wording is unusually explicit. This distinguishes the active Dragon Raja club from the Discord community; it does not create a second formal organization or date every earlier stage of the split. Discord message 1180686272621183016.

2024

EXPANSION BECOMES MAINTENANCE.

By 2024 the language changes. The surviving HQ is quieter. Mugen thanks Sye and WolfPhenix for keeping UL going; her Christmas Eve announcement elsewhere thanks them for carrying the torch and welcomes newer Officers.

The verbs matter. Nobody is claiming the Raja machine is back at peak scale. The work is continuity: door coverage, social safety, institutional memory, keeping enough of the house standing that people can still find it.

Mugen thanks Sye and WolfPhenix during the maintenance era. This is evidence of continuity work, not an intimacy ranking or a claim that only these two people kept UL alive. Discord message 1293674616564486145.

This does not make Sye or Wolf the only keepers of UL, and it is not an intimacy ranking. They are named here because the archive contains direct maintenance language about them.

01 JUL โ†’ 18 AUG 2025

THE GAME CLUB GETS AN ENDING.

Sye tells HQ she is about to post about โ€œthe fate of UL in gameโ€ and explicitly means the club inside Dragon Raja. Then she says she will come back after she is done crying.

By July 31, she is cleaning the roster and leaving retired Officers until last. On August 18, while describing an old alt, she refers to the period โ€œbefore we disbanded.โ€

The surviving HQ therefore gives us a hard boundary: by August 18, 2025, Sye speaks of the in-game club as disbanded. It does not give this page permission to invent the exact public announcement text or exact mechanical timestamp. Those belong to the Club-Only join if and when the primary receipt is recovered cleanly.

THEN SOMEBODY COMES BACK
LOOKING FOR UNDERLORDS.

Qin-Mu, already visible in UL's 2021 Lobby, returns from the โ€œOG Dragon Raja days.โ€ The request is not โ€œwhere are the old Raja players?โ€ It is: โ€œI need a guild lol I miss you guys.โ€

Mugen answers: โ€œWe have an Underlords guild yes ๐Ÿ˜„.โ€ The new game is Where Winds Meet. The durable noun is Underlords.

Qin-Mu is already archive-visible in UL's 2021 Lobby, so this is a return/continuity scene. The later WWM branch is a new-game branch, not evidence that UL wholesale migrated or that WWM's automatic guild-leader mechanic changed UL command.

IMPORTANT ANTI-FANON

WWM'S GUILD CROWN IS NOT THE UL CROWN.

In January 2026 the WWM system automatically moves Guild Leader between people when somebody is absent. Moon and Shiki explicitly describe the mechanic. Those game-system transfers are not appointments to UL command, not evidence that Mugen stopped being Boss, and not a succession chart wearing a wuxia hat.

The inspected WWM guild screenshot is still wonderful evidence of portability: Underlords โ€” โ€œYour friendly neighborhood dumdums, back in business~โ€. The exact message/attachment join is not preserved strongly enough in the current catalog to promote the binary as a receipt here, so the page describes the inspected artifact without pretending the file is safer than it is.

AUG 2026

BY THE REUNION, NOBODY NEEDS RAJA TO EXPLAIN WHY THEY'RE HERE.

The August reunion puts different UL generations back in Whiskey. People explicitly separate the server from Raja, call each other family across generations, resurrect old room language, and start making history out of the return itself.

That is the final mutation in this chain. Dragon Raja remains origin history. It stops being the sole explanation for continuity.

SO WHEN DID RAJA STOP BEING THE POINT?

NOT ON ONE DATE.

First the relationships become portable. Then the leadership machinery separates community roles from game mechanics. Then maintenance becomes its own work. Then the in-game club is wound down. Then somebody from the Raja era returns through a completely different game looking for the same people under the same name.

The game was the front door. It was not the load-bearing wall forever.

SOURCE BOUNDARY

This is a cross-archive synthesis. Main HQ is COMPLETE at the transcript level for the 2022โ€“2026 tail used here; external-media review remains selective. The 2025 disband receipts establish that Sye was discussing the fate of the in-game club on July 1 and speaking of it as disbanded by August 18; they do not supply the exact public Club-Only announcement or exact mechanical disband timestamp. The 2025โ€“2026 Other Games intake is COMPLETE and supports Qin-Mu's return plus the WWM branch. The 2026 WWM guild screenshot was visually inspected in that intake, but its exact message/attachment filename join remains receipt-pending, so the image is not rehosted here. Current Discord role arrays are never used as appointment chronology. Mugs-confirmed membership canon controls edge cases: Discord presence alone was not UL membership, visitors existed, and โ€œonce ULโ€ durability was contextual rather than a magic rule that erased expulsion or active-club boundaries.
