THE PAPERWORK ARRIVED AFTER THE PERSON
The archive catches Woosung before the July introduction ever happens. On April 8, 2020, WOO is in Lobby while a bot records Snow patting Woosung. Her contribution is:
"Lol I wish my hair could stay like that"
A few minutes later the same account is catching a Budew. Then, on July 28, she produces what looks like an introduction:
"Hi Woosung.....idk what else"
and Snow posts "@WOO Role added" about fifteen minutes later.
That sequence separates surviving presence from visible paperwork. The form did not discover the human.
SHE IS NOT MUGEN'S EX. THE RELATIONSHIP IS STILL HER OWN.
Mugs confirms the family edge that matters here: Woosung is the female cousin of Mugen's ex. Woosung herself is not Mugen's ex. That correction changes how the later archive has to be read.
May 11, 2023, QOTD asks members who Mugen is to them. Woo answers with her own vocabulary: close friend, a grown-up version of herself, an older-sister-like guide, somebody she can talk to about anything, one of her earliest close Raja relationships.
That is not residual romance. It is evidence that a relationship which began adjacent to somebody else's romance became independently durable. UL's social graph does not respect clean family-tree boundaries; the cousin has her own line.
NAME THE PERSON. FILE THE VERDICT.
September 30, 2020:
"ANTHOS"
"I found someone to simp"
"in genshin"
Then March 26, 2023:
"NOBU"
"TRAITOR"
We do not know what Nobu supposedly betrayed from those two lines alone. The delivery is the point. Woosung does not always build toward a joke. Sometimes she points at a person, lets the proper noun establish the defendant, and drops the verdict immediately after it.
THE COMPLAINT IS NOW ALSO EVIDENCE
By spring 2023, the problem is no longer just that WOO can indict somebody in two words. People know what happens when the Wall indicts her back.
Nobu gets "NOBU" / "TRAITOR"; another filing later that night gets the smaller, somehow more wounded "nobu" / "why". A few days later Moon is already calling something "the perfect paragraph for tsundere Woo". Rich takes the assignment personally, performs the full stock "B-baka!" routine at her, and gets exactly what he ordered:
"OMG NO WHY WOULD U"
Rich's immediate answer is a head-pat GIF. Poke, outrage, pat. Nobody needs to hold a committee meeting about what register they are in.
Then WOO finally diagnoses the structural problem herself:
"I need to not talk sm I got so much stuff on the hall of shame"
Moon's correction is ruthless and affectionate:
"No no you famous uwu."
WOO answers that with crying and skull reactions instead of disappearing. That is the recurring contradiction in one little pile: she is embarrassed enough to protest, comfortable enough to stay, and expressive enough that every defense risks becoming the next exhibit. The Wall is not merely happening *to* her anymore. Her reaction to the Wall is part of what everybody comes to see.
There is a much earlier echo that is too far away to pretend it is a neat personality arc. In August 2020, WOO says "cool i exist" and later "Happy I was in the pic". By 2023, she is joking about being documented too much. First: pleased to be in frame. Later: apparently cursed by being in every fucking frame. Same woman, very different archival problem.
THE SERVER MACHINERY IS ALSO A SOCIAL TOY
April gives Woosung one of the least dramatic entrances imaginable: she catches a Budew through the Lobby bot and keeps moving. By September the same instinct has acquired fake homicide paperwork. WOO types:
"eli kill"
The bot announces that Woosung is killing Anthos. Roughly twenty-four seconds later the machinery has already flipped genres and generates Anthos running in for a hug/glomp with her. WOO answers 0.180 seconds later with a love/party Tenor GIF.
That timing makes the whole thing much more Woosung than a generic "she used bots" fact. The command language is dry and tiny; the social payoff is ridiculous and immediate. She can use whatever little system the room hands her as part of the conversation, and mock aggression does not need a reset screen before it turns affectionate. The bot wrote the automated action text. Woo posted the GIF; she is not credited as its maker. None of it is literal violence or secret romance wearing command syntax as a hat.
#WOOFANNYS MEETS THE WORD NO
November 27 starts with Nobu asking Mugen, "how does that work hun". WOO answers the room by posting "unknown.png" under "#woofannys"; Ren immediately frames the defendants as "@Nobu & @_WOO". Then Mugen starts asking Nobu for a picture.
The scene gets much clearer the second refusal enters the record. Ren says:
"he already said no, boss"
WOO does not try to litigate around it. She repeats the answer — "he said no thanks" — and closes with "what a nice guy".
The file behind the hashtag is still opaque. We do not know what the picture shows, who made or captured it, or who appears in it. What the text *does* preserve is the social brake: everybody is joking, Mugen pushes, Ren names the prior refusal, and the bit stops there. For once the Wall has a complete punchline and the punchline is no means the joke moves on.
DADDY GRANNY
December 15 gives Mugen the full Woosung compression treatment:
"mugs is my daddy granny"
Not daddy *or* granny. Daddy granny. Two generations collapse into one two-word job description because UL's fake-family grammar had long since stopped pretending it needed a normal tree.
The line matters as Woo-specific relationship texture, not literal genealogy. It sits comfortably beside the much clearer language she would use in 2023—friend, guide, older-sister figure—without replacing any of it. The house joke can call Mugen two incompatible relatives at once; Woo can still describe the actual bond in ordinary human terms when asked.
SHE IS USED TO BEING THE ONE WHO REACHES OUT
The neck-care scene makes WOO look like somebody caught caring. QOTD makes the pattern much less accidental.
WOO says people come to her for comfort. Her preferred method is not fixing them like a broken appliance: listen, stay, let them cry if they need to, spend time, bring food they like, make sure they know they are loved. She also puts a boundary around the job. You do not have to reshape your own capacity into something heroic; sometimes being there is enough.
Then April asks what somebody else could do that would help her. WOO's answer is almost offensively simple:
"Reaching out"
Because, she says, "I usually make the effort to talk, and I carry the conversation". Somebody else making first contact and letting her know "I don’t need to do stuff on my own" means a lot.
That is the better contradiction underneath the tsundere jokes. WOO is comfortable being the listener, the initiator, the food-bringer, the person who keeps conversation moving. What gets to her is not grand rescue. It is somebody noticing that the person who usually starts the motion might like to be met halfway.
She even explains the teasing in the same register: sometimes she shows love by bullying somebody when they know it is because she cares. The qualifier is the important part. Affection is not an excuse that makes every jab harmless; the care has to be legible to the person receiving it.
Her descriptions of other people are revealing for the same reason. Gilli is memorable because she reaches out and makes WOO smile. Gabu validates people and makes them comfortable. Cele is reliable and pushes WOO toward doing things independently. WOO notices not just that people care, but the exact delivery mechanism.
THE TSUNDERE DEFENSE IS NOT HELPING HER CASE
April 2023 catches a different version of the same compression. WOO gives useful neck-pain advice first. Moon immediately notices the emotional problem with this performance: WOO does care.
WOO's defense strategy is catastrophic:
"shut up moon".
Then: "I am no tsun either".
Then: "OMG I NEVER SAID I DIDN'T CARE, I'M NOT MEAN".
And finally: "I don't not care about anyone here".
The practical advice arrives before the disclaimer. Discord keeps receipts in chronological order.
THE FAMILY TREE DID NOT NEED TO INVENT EVERY BRANCH
The September 2020 family Tumbleweed pins "CELEANA - Woosung (cousin)". That edge is literal because Cele and Woosung's real-life cousin relationship is independently user-confirmed. Separately, Woo is also the female cousin of Mugen's ex. Those are different relationships and should stay different.
Woosung's file therefore works best when it refuses the clean onboarding story. She is already there before the role-add scene. She already has family outside the server. She develops an independent friendship with Mugen. And once the room gets going, she apparently needs very few words to put somebody on trial.
Petty Crimes
- Her proposed solution to having too much Hall-of-Shame material is "I need to not talk sm", announced inside the Hall of Shame and therefore immediately preserved as more Hall-of-Shame material. Outstanding execution.
- In September 2020 she reported playing Among Us "like 14 times" and being "never the imposter". Fourteen games of citizen labor. Zero villain promotion.
