# Ghostt
Ghostt can say "Aye i used to box, wassup?" and, two days earlier, tell the same room she managed to set part of her own beard on fire at work.
That is a much better door into her than “tough but sweet.” Ghostt does not protect the cool-guy image hard enough for that. Physical confidence can sit right beside sympathy, exhaustion, embarrassment and enough self-awareness to hand the room a perfectly usable story about losing a fight to her own lighter.
The other long-running contradiction is even cleaner: Ghostt quits Dragon Raja early and keeps Underlords anyway. The game gets blurry. The social room does not.
THE TOUGH-GUY IMAGE HAS NO SECURITY DEPARTMENT
Whiskey keeps getting Ghostt's day in the least polished form possible.
Work means "I can’t I gotta work tomorrow". Later it means "Still at work". Sometimes it means "Dying of sweating from work, I’m drenched". And on April 27, 2021, it means this magnificent incident report:
"Cuz I lit my lighter at work and set some of my beard on fire"
Two days later:
"Aye i used to box, wassup?"
There is no need to choose which Ghostt is the real one. The former-boxing line has swagger; the beard-fire confession voluntarily kneecaps the swagger. Apparently embarrassment is allowed to enter Whiskey without first being converted into dignity.
The same lack of armor shows up when somebody else is having a mundane bad time. When Rooks is dealing with a paper, Ghostt says "Oh I hope that paper doesn’t give you much trouble either". Rooks answers by admitting she gave herself trouble by starting late and is only "3/8 pages done".
No giant care speech. Ghostt notices the ordinary stress and answers softly enough that Rooks answers honestly back.
HEARTS. ALMOST NO SENTENCES REQUIRED.
Anthos and Ghostt have an even more compressed register.
January 19: Ghostt tags Anthos with a paired love/heart emote set. Anthos answers a minute later with "haii ghosttt" and another paired heart set.
January 24: Ghostt does it again. Anthos returns another paired love image eighteen seconds later.
That is all the relationship needs to do here. No paragraph-long declaration, no rank, no suspiciously formal Friendship Statement. One person throws hearts across the room; the other knows the grammar and throws hearts back.
It is affection with almost all the prose removed.
IF THE WRONG VERSION IS FUNNIER, IT GETS TO LIVE
Ghostt's Wall instinct is not correction. It is continuation.
Gilli posts an image in February 2021. Whatever is in the pixels stays backstage; the part that matters for Ghostt is the exact reply she chooses: "No you had it right it’s porpcorn now lmfao". A malformed word has apparently crossed the threshold from mistake into local property. She does not fix it. She protects it.
A month later Mugen drops ":Cursed:" and Ghostt true-replies "Bless your heart :hAhA:". Mugen and DyingFox promptly react "Cursed" to *her*. The faux sweetness does not defuse the insult so much as put lace around it. Nobody has to explain that the line is teasing; the reactions answer in the same language.
Then Ghostt says "Poor ghoulie she lives on the wall lmao". Eighteen seconds later Mugen is asking Ghoulie "where's the rent". No reply arrow joins those messages, so nobody gets issued a patent on the joke. Socially, though, the handoff is clean: Ghostt supplies a premise and Mugen knows exactly which stupid municipal department to open next.
The useful thing about this pattern is that Ghostt keeps the same register when the joke swings back toward her. In 2022 she posts two screenshots, gets called out in the reply chain, and answers "She set me up for it 😂". She does not suddenly demand a dignified evidentiary standard because she is now the exhibit. She offers a defense that is also another beat.
That makes Ghostt a reliable bit-preserver more than a bit-starter. If the room already has something funny in motion — a typo, a curse, a fake Wall tenancy, her own alleged setup — her reflex is often to keep the useful version alive long enough for somebody else to catch it. Correction can wait. Dignity can absolutely wait.
SHE QUIT RAJA. SHE DID NOT LEAVE THE SERVER.
Ghostt gets processed through the Stripclub Bouncer on December 13, 2020. Mugen assigns the Discord role, points at the Tour, and immediately adds the useful house information: the Christmas movie marathon is already running.
Three weeks later, in Whiskey, Ghostt makes the next part extremely difficult to overcomplicate:
"Imma still be in discord just not playing raja anymore"
There. Whole transition. One sentence.
By October, the same account is still being carried on UL BIG PizzaParty / random-topping participant lists while the event is being organized. That does not prove Ghostt showed up on October 8; it does show the house's social machinery still knew where to put her long after she had said Raja itself was done.
Then December 23 arrives and the game-side filing is visibly starting to rot:
"I haven’t been on in so long I forget which club I’m in lol"
Marian Kage, consulting the nearest available metadata:
"well, your name says forsaken"
About five hours later Ghostt adds:
"Yeah but I left it and then uninstalled not long after that"
There is no stored reply arrow joining those last two lines, and five hours is enough missing room for the pronoun to stay unclaimed. The first sentence needs no rescue, though. Eleven months earlier Ghostt had already separated the game from the Discord in her own words. Now the old Raja club label has become a quiz she can laugh at while standing in UL's Wall.
Seven months later the same stable account is still there, posting screenshots and answering "She set me up for it 😂". Years later, the living roster still files Ghostt as Staff. None of that backdates a Staff appointment or proves one uninterrupted formal status.
The Raja client could go. Ghostt kept the room.
Petty Crimes
Porpcorn Preservation Order. Ghostt sees a malformed version and actively refuses the correction: "No you had it right it’s porpcorn now lmfao". Spelling lost jurisdiction.
Bless Your Heart, Cursed Edition. Mugen says ":Cursed:"; Ghostt replies "Bless your heart :hAhA:"; the room answers by cursing Ghostt's reply. Southern-style sweetness has been recalled for malicious use.
Mass Effect Repeat Offender. The previously unnamed repeat-playthrough confession finally has a game attached to it. In a May 2021 Mass Effect pocket, Ghostt says "I put so many hours in that game on playthroughs lol". Apparently one playthrough was an insufficient use of electricity.
Apple Juice Supremacy. June 2021 ruling: "Apple juice is the superior drink". No appeal process survives.
Beard Fire at Work. Ghostt chose to tell the room this herself, which is important. The injury to the cool-guy image was self-filed.
