RUNNING BIT / ESCALATION HISTORY

GABU IS SMOL.
THE CASE REMAINS OPEN.

an argument acquired a department store

First it was an argument.

Then it became identity metadata.

Then somebody made a missing-person poster.

DEC 2022

GILLI FILES THE CASE

Gilli posts `Gabu finally admitted she is shorter`. Gabu returns hours later with the appeal: `Gilli is shorter!!!!`. Somewhere in the same municipal disaster, `#shortlivesmatter` enters the record.

APR 2023

THE DEFENDANT IS STILL APPEALING

Gabu is still litigating: `Gilli is shortest, Gabu is not imposter`.

Meanwhile Gilli has promoted the dispute into her own Discord display name: `Gabu's Non-existent inches`.

H2 2023

THE JOKE GETS A GRAPHICS DEPARTMENT

A recovered Whiskey artifact is a full fake MISSING GABU poster. It asks for help finding `MY SMOL GABU`. Description: `Smol`.

According to this entirely serious public-service document, Gabu was last seen at `UL's department store` shopping for `XXXS clothes and 10 inch heels`. The contact block names TheBossMuggy and UnderLords.

A recurring argument became fake civic infrastructure.

THIS IS HOW UL LORE GETS ZONING PERMITS

The useful thing is not whether Gabu or Gilli is actually shorter. The archive is not measuring anybody.

The useful thing is escalation. A tiny peer joke survives long enough to move rooms, collect rebuttals, colonize a display name, then emerge as a designed object with a location, witness statement and contact desk.

UL does this constantly: the bit gets repeated, repetition makes it legible, somebody gives it a format, and suddenly the joke has infrastructure.

DEFENDANT / APPELLANTGABU โ†—RECURRING OPPOSING COUNSELGILLI โ†—
one boring but important caveat

The archive confirms the earlier Gilli/Gabu height-war text and preserves the later UL-native missing poster. The current H2 media layer does not yet identify who created or posted the poster, so the site does not hand authorship to Gilli, Mugen, or anyone else just because that would make the joke tidy. The bit is real. The designer remains open.
