THE EVENT WAS A SYSTEM, NOT A FOLDER
NEW YEAR, NEW YOU opens the cycle with submissions, judging, winner, next theme. Later rounds repeat the machinery. People are not merely posting pictures when the mood strikes; UL keeps manufacturing reasons to dress, pose, coordinate, submit, and await judgment. Extremely healthy relationship with being perceived.

MAFIA β THERE ARE RULES ABOUT THE RULES
By spring, staff are enforcing no outside editing, uncropped images, and visible player names. Cookie's '0 edit' complaint is the perfect little tragedy: UL has successfully made artistic restraint an administrative matter.
WALTZ β COUPLES DEPARTMENT
July asks participants to grab a partner and links a tutorials channel. The screenshot contest now has a support desk and can stage relationships, not only outfits.
FAMILY β THE CONTEST ACCIDENTALLY MAPS BELONGING
November asks people to photograph the Raja family they are thankful for. Suddenly the event is collecting who people choose to stand beside. Nobody calls this social history because everybody is busy posing.
WINTER β ONE YEAR. THEY SURVIVED THEMSELVES.
The December prompt calls 2021 the first successful year of the photoshoot event. By then the recurring contest has become its own UL institution, which is an insane amount of governance to derive from 'take a pretty screenshot.'
