Officers Challenge was explicitly open to anyone, while different Officers acted as challenge hosts.
EVENT PARTICIPATION
attendance but make it socially complicated
QOTD โ LOW FRICTION, YEARS OF RETURN
One prompt can invite one answer, a conversation, a reaction, or nothing at all. That repeatability lets the same ritual absorb both heavy regulars and intermittent returners.
UL MAFIA โ PARTICIPATION AS PRODUCTION
Characters, votes, stories, mugshots: participation can mean contributing media and becoming material inside a shared themed production rather than merely being present.
VOICE CHALLENGE โ A DIFFERENT EXPOSURE TAX
Voice asks members to present a dimension of themselves that text chat does not. Its participation cost is not comparable one-for-one with answering QOTD.
OFFICERS CHALLENGE โ OPEN DOOR, OFFICER AUTHORS
Ansun's February 19 clarification is direct: anyone can participate. The distinguishing mechanic is that different Officers host different challenges. The same post accepts member suggestions; a March reminder says pinned challenges stay open at any time. This is not a leadership-only denominator. It is leadership-authored programming with a public participant pool.
NEWCOMERS COULD BE ROUTED STRAIGHT INTO IT
March 2022 Lobby onboarding points newcomers toward Officers Challenge alongside the Tour and main chat, describing it as riddles and challenges they can try. Participation here could double as orientation-by-doing: learn the building, then try one of management's current activities.
WHY ONE LEADERBOARD WOULD LIE
Replying to a prompt, recording your voice, submitting a mugshot, and solving an Officer-hosted riddle require different effort and exposure. Future participation analysis needs format-specific denominators before it needs prettier bars.
SOURCE NOTES 5
Members were invited to suggest future Officers Challenge prompts by DMing or tagging leadership.
Pinned Officers Challenge prompts remained open for participation at any time.
March 2022 Lobby onboarding messages directed newcomers to Officers Challenge as a room containing riddles and challenges to try.
Cross-event participation should be compared by format-specific participation mechanics rather than one undifferentiated attendance total.
A full participant-by-event matrix is still being reconstructed; this page covers the participation patterns already supported by recovered event corpora.
