π BIODATA
the little cards people wrote about themselves before the rest of the server got to contradict them
WHAT SURVIVES
The recovered export contains 164 messages spanning September 5, 2021 through December 12, 2024. The room opens with a heavy launch burstβroughly 38 profiles in the first three daysβthen continues as a standing introduction room rather than a one-week event.
WHAT KIND OF RECEIPT THIS IS
Biodata is unusually deliberate evidence. Club Only catches people in ordinary conversation. The Wall catches what somebody else decided to save. Biodata catches a person choosing how to introduce themselves when explicitly given a place to do it. That means omissions, jokes, emphasis, wording, and later revisions all matter.
WHAT IT IS NOT
It is not a complete UL membership list. A person can belong to UL without leaving a surviving Biodata profile. It is not automatically current: people change names, roles, pronouns, jobs, relationships, and what they are willing to disclose. It is not stronger than a later user-confirmed identity correction.
WHY LOBBY MATTERS TO THIS FILE
The Biodata room explains what people wrote; Lobby explains what the room became. By September 6, 2021 Mugen was already routing a newcomer there for intros. In October the same handoff appears under Gilli, Gabu, and Anayss. By 2022 the welcome script has compressed to Biodata, the Discord Tour, and Whiskey Room. The cross-room receipts show the introduction page becoming normal house procedure.
IDENTITY PROVENANCE STILL WINS
Historical display names and usernames are useful crosswalk material, but current canon remains authoritative when an old card conflicts with a locked identity mapping. The archive should preserve what was written without forcing the public site to pretend an obsolete alias is a separate person.
SOURCE NOTES 4
Mugen opened Biodata on September 5, 2021 `by popular request`, and roughly 38 profiles were posted in the first three days.
By September 6, 2021, Lobby was already routing a role-assigned newcomer to Biodata for introductions; by October multiple greeters were repeating the handoff.
Biodata should be treated as self-authored, time-bound identity evidence rather than a complete roster or permanently current profile system.
